Our youngest students begin in our DCFS-licensed Toddler program at just 15 months of age. This program serves children through age 3, with a strong focus on self-care, language development, and gentle independence in a fully child-sized environment.
Absolutely. Our Elementary programs are aligned with National and Illinois State Core Curriculum Standards and recognized by the Illinois State Board of Education. Students study Math, Geometry, Language Arts, Cultural Studies, Physical Education, Art, and Music — all through the Montessori lens. Many FVMS graduates go on to excel in a variety of secondary school settings.
Before school care is available, and extended afternoon hours are offered for Primary and Elementary students. The standard school day runs 8:30 AM–2:45 PM, with a half-day option of 8:30–11:30 AM for some programs. We're designed to work with real family schedules.
