We needed a very strong teacher for one of our children in the area of reading and writing…and we sure found her (Thanks Ms. Kathie!). Within the first 2 weeks of school, we saw more improvements in our son’s reading and writing than we had the entire year in the last school. Learning is interwoven into his day in small enough segments that he has been building his confidence in both areas. Our children love the school and so do we. I can’t say enough about it!

I am sending this to you in part to brag about my son, but also to show you how successful his first year in public school was for him academically (socially and emotionally (for the most part) as well!). Different teachers at different points in the year commented about how well he does in working on group projects and how they would often put him in groups with students that needed a little extra help because they had observed his ability to get things done and to work well with other kids. I attribute so much of these successes to all that FVMS did for him in trusting his ability to work hard and to have the confidence in what he can accomplish. Thanks to you both for all of your support and commitment to him through the years.
